Poem: "Random"

A Random Poem...

Some say I've built a brick wall around my heart
I say it not a brick wall but a wall of iron
Who said love was suppose to hurt
Who said who you love was not suppose to love you back
Who came up with all this bullshit
Was this in the bible cause I missed that
Was it in some book written millions of years ago
I miss that too
It's not written anywhere
It's written in the book called Life, real LIFE
Random shit, you have no control over
Life is interesting yes
But loving someone that hurt you
Can hurt you to the soul
Makes you not want to see the sunlight
Makes you feel alone and cold to the world
I say, I need my armor of iron for protection
I don't know how long it will last
But it better hold up for now
Cause love does not live here right now at this very moment
